Topic: Improving efficiency and effectiveness of aligner orthodontics… Willy Dayan Style!
As orthodontists transition the practice from analog-based systems of orthodontics to a digital aligner orthodontic-based system, there are many areas that require attention to take advantage of what the software and technology provide. These include changes in our treatment conference, changes in how we develop orthodontic treatment plans for the patient, important aligner bio-mechanic understanding and considerations of the ClinCheck Plan, patient instructions and communication skills, and other aspects to be considered.
The discussion will be based mainly on the Clinical aspects of quality orthodontic treatment of our patients. Topics will include:
- How to treat all malocclusion types with Invisalign
- How to manage customizing biomechanics for all types of malocclusions using the very ROBUST AND POWERFUL CLINCHECK SOFTWARE.
- How to assess and understand the Smart Force system and work with it to create the appropriate forces to treat the malocclusion.
- How to reduce additional aligner usage
- How to eliminate ClinCheck homework and still personally approve all the ClinChecks and have them done JUST THE WAY YOU WANT THEM.
- How to make partners of our patients for improved cooperation and better on time finishes
These and many more topics will be discussed in this presentation that will cover how to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our aligner orthodontics.
Bio
Dr. William Dayan reached the level of Invisalign® Elite Advantage Provider in 2005 and has been treating Invisalign patients since 1999. In addition to his full-time private practice in orthodontics, he lectures worldwide about Aligner Orthodontics and Adult Rehabilitative Orthodontics, and Patient Consultation and Presentation Skills. He is a guest lecturer at the University of Toronto Department of Orthodontics, The Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Ontario Dental Association, and The Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Dayan holds a DDS degree and diploma in orthodontics from the University of Toronto. He is the President and Founder of YourOrthoCoach.com.

Bio
Laryssa has worked in the orthodontic field since 2007, and has held every position possible within the industry both administratively and clinically. She started as a sterilization technician and eventually moved chairside as an orthodontic assistant. She later transitioned to treatment coordinator, financial coordinator, office manager and finally into the Director of Operations for a prominent orthodontic organization, overseeing 3 offices and over 50 team members. She has extensive knowledge and experience with startups, treatment coordinating, customer service, marketing, leadership, development of policy and systems and managing multiple offices.

Bio
Dr. Moe Razavi and his wife, Celeste, have resided in Ottawa for over 10 years, and are proud to be raising their two children in the Nation's Capital. Outside of the office, Dr. Razavi enjoys spending time with his family: being active with his children, taking in the many local museums and restaurants, and travelling.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from University of Toronto, Dr. Razavi received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and Master’s degree in Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was invited to teach at the orthodontic department at Case upon his graduation, and he continues his teachings as a visiting assistant clinical professor at Case. In addition to teaching orthodontic residents, he teaches colleagues both nationally and internationally on advanced treatment techniques. Dr. Razavi has authored in multiple journals, textbook chapters and is currently a reviewer for The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, and the Australian Journal of Orthodontics.
Dr. Razavi practiced in Cleveland for 5 years where he served as the orthodontist for the Cleveland Browns and on the Craniofacial Team at the Cleveland Clinic, and in 2009 Dr. Razavi moved to the Ottawa region to be closer to his family.
Dr. Razavi is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, Ontario Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, and other professional organizations.

That decision should be based on the orthodontist's expertise and experience as well as a commitment to providing the most advanced orthodontic treatment in a convenient and comfortable office.
